Amazing food and great service! Our server Jess was amazingly sweet and attentive. Build your own Bloody Mary bar and to die for parmadean truffle fries. Loved it!

Food was great! But, some dishes were not worth the price... the service was terrible. I had a reservation for 7:45 and the waiter did not take my order until a hour later. Everyone in our section was being taken care of frequently. Yet, we were still sitting already finished with our drinks before the waiter came to take our order.

I went here every year for my birthday and it's never a hit or miss 💯

Amazing steak & cheese! Hands down the best pub in the area. Full bar, tons of bottled beer. Small selection of draft beers, but they are all great options.

Love this place. I wish the menus would change more often

Great atmosphere. Fun bar, great food. Liked having a quiet dinner up stairs. Great place to bring a date.

The food was delicious. They have a nice variety of pub food and desserts. Their beer selection is good, something for everyone's tastes. The service was very good especially since the restaurant was very busy. I will definitely eat there again.

Excellent food and drinks! I highly recommend the burgers, truffle parmesan fries, bacon-wrapped dates, boozy milkshake...the list goes on and on.

Great food, great service. Excellent sweet potato fries. One of my dining companions ordered a beer they were out of and the wait staff helped him find something comparable, even bringing, unrequested, a sample for him to try. They work very hard to make a nice experience.

This place was amazing!! They got us in on Valentine’s Day and we didn’t have a reservation. It was so sweet of them!! The food is amazing too!!

Pretty pricey everything is around $15 minimum for each appetizers etc side order & meals were definitely in the 20s & up. But nice little place, had different flavors of food. But the drinks tasted good & the biurbon chocolate shake was easily the most alcoholic mudslide I've ever tasted & hit my wife good i can't drink alcohol much & this thing just had too much to me with my meds so wife got to drink all to herself. I still had 2 sips. It was good. The bacon in top was deliciously perfect addition. Was $16 but i know why.If u don't mind spending double than regular restaurants it's great to check out at least once if not be a regular.

Their food is amazing. This is the place you want to go on a Friday Evening. Has nice patio seating to enjoy during summers.

New bartender in training did a phenomenal job...ask for Aaron. This is my favorite restaurant in Bloomfield. I will keep coming back. Recommend the pretzel charcuterie plate for happy hour!

Good vibes! I always have great service at the bar. (side note: theyll never pour your Guinness incorrectly) Trivia nights here are alot of fun and you 100% have to try the philly cheese steak egg rolls!! (not sure I've ever had a better egg roll honestly).

Went for a happy hour and end up staying late and order from a regular menu. Great atmosphere. Good option from the happy hour and amazing food. It is very crowded and I had to wait for 10 mins to park my car so expect the wait. You must try turkey burger it’s the best...

This gastropub may be pricey but is totally worth it for a great night out. The food is excellent! The restaurant maintains a clean environment. Later towards the end of the day the place gets crowded.

I get burgers here all the time for lunch, they threw me extra fries one time--I appreciated that! Also, the bartenders are pretty cool. I like their happy hour. I hope they continue to give me great service! Thank you.

COVID-19 SURCHARGECovid-19 surcharge. They will tell you it is just to cover costs, but how much profit is in it also? If you want customers to return to your business don't find ways to get extra money from them.

Enjoyed a nice dinner and cocktails. The latest menu has some dishes with a North-African inspiration that sound wonderful. The menu has their tried and true staples still, however definitely is experimenting. Still a solid restaurant to go, have a few drinks, and relax.

This was their Bloomfield location- I have been to the downtown numerous times. Great food, drinks are alittle pricey for what you get and should be priced for the area. Service was A+ and we didnt at all feel rushed. I would recommend and will definitly be going back.

Enjoyed a really good spinach salad with salmon. Haven't traveled up to this part of this part of the state in many years, this restaurant is a welcome addition.

I really like the place in the food was pretty good. However, the acoustics make it a pretty noisy place. Definitely a fun drinking place but not a romantic getaway.

Food and drinks were great. Service was terrible. Went in for a quick bite at 5:30. Had 1 drink and ordered a burger. Two hours later we finished and got our check. The remedy from our waitress was not genuine and condescending. I'll go back when this experience is a distant memory.

Twas the night before Christmas and no place to go, as most places were already closed. Decided to call Republic asking if they were open but unfortunately they quit serving at 7. I displayed my disappointment asking if they would reconsider, and to my surprise Chris the GM said come on over, we'll keep the kitchen open! What an amazing guy! Food was great, service excellent. Upscale pub-bistro inside a renovated old mill. Serves mostly American food with a little French twist. Very friendly service. My first visit there was a pleasant surprise. The onion soup was rich and fragrant. The kale salad had speck instead of bacon. It also had pumpkin seeds instead the usual sunflower seed. Unfortunately, the espresso was burnt. I ordered the same dishes and it was slightly different and the dishes were not as well prepared as the first time.

Great food, great service. The new trivia on Sunday evenings is a fun add. Only issue was that it went pretty slowly the second time I went. Also, the upper level was not well temperature controlled and much too warm.

We love this place but I wouldn't recommend it for Valentine's day. A shortened menu was used but you aren't notified when you make the reservation.Instead you get there and realize most of the food(the reason you chose this place) isn't on the menu and only the most expensive items are on the menu. you either have to pay $25 for an entree (or two) you don't want or do nothing because you won't find a table elsewhere. The most annoying part is that is wasn't any busier than a usual weekend night. It seemed the menu wasn't for speed but rather for prices. We love this place but this experience was serverely disappointing.

My fish and chips were heavy in oil and the batter over browned. Most fell off the fish. Fries were great. Service was terrific. Hubby says his burger was okay.

Food is AMAZING!

The menu is not inexpensive, but still good value for money. My go-to is the Au Poivre burger (ask for it on the grass if you want to avoid the extra carbs). Pretty decent drinks menu as well; they have both craft cocktails and local craft beer. Reservations are recommended as they get quite crowded during dinner time.

Consistently great food! Burgers are great. Bacon wrapped dates are amazing. Salads are great! Interesting drink menu and really impressive bar!

Great place to go, only 20 or so minutes from BDL. Turkey burger "in the woods" (sub bun for Ceaser Salad) was fantastic!

High Quality Craft Draft Beers.Tried the fried Cornish Game Hen but is wasn't very good. It was over cooked. The creamed kale and mushroom gravy that came with it was awesome. The ambiance was very cool. Very friendly and attentive bar server. Great craft beer selection on tap. The Stone Ole Guardian Barley with ABV 11.5% was fantastic. Very clean bar. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Easy access and ample parking.

Second time at Republic in 2 years. It's well worth a visit! I love the ambiance, the food is great, and the service has been exceptional! Try the truffle onion soup and bacon wrapped dates! I'll definitely return when in the area!

The food is good, big serving of fish and chips! Good choice of beers too. Our group of 6 was seated upstairs at a dimly lit corner table though, and the service was slow that night.

It was great for lunch with different options. Zucchini fries are great and the kale salad comes with a strip of beef jerky.
